Our original family recipe bakes into delicious cookies with warm spice and deep molasses flavor. Made with fresh Grapewood Farm flour and candied ginger, there’s a cozy, spiced treat in every bite!
You Will Need:
- 1 stick (113g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
Tips:
- Roll balls of dough in your palms smoothing surface to create even textured cookies.
- Alternatively place rough shaped dough balls directly on sheet to create more cracked appearance.
- Decorate with drizzle of royal icing to create a more festive appearance!
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC)
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl add contents of package mix, softened butter and egg.
- Mix well until dough comes together.
- Scoop 20-22 balls of dough onto cookie sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 13-15 minutes until edges are golden.
- Allow several minutes on the baking sheets to set, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
